Kaci Demaegd

 

 

 

Kaci DeMaegd is the Litigation & Records Legal Professional for the Office of General Counsel.  Her responsibilities include litigation support, managing discovery and e-discovery processes, assisting with investigations, and drafting discovery responses.  She also processes all records requests for the Office of General Counsel, including third-party subpoenas, FERPA requests, and expungements.  Additionally, Ms. DeMaegd supports various projects and assists with training preparations.

Prior to joining the University of Notre Dame, she was employed as a Paralegal at May Oberfell Lorber for over eight years, providing litigation support to numerous attorneys in matters related to commercial litigation, family law, and appeals.  In her capacity as a Paralegal, Ms. DeMaegd managed matters from inception through completion, with a focus on guiding clients through the discovery process and assisting with settlement and trial strategies.

Ms. DeMaegd earned her Bachelor's of Science degree from Trine University in 2018.
