Todd C. Dvorak, Associate General Counsel

Todd Dvorak

Todd C. Dvorak is Associate General Counsel at the University of Notre Dame.  His practice focuses on staff-related employment matters and proceedings, employment contracts, certain employee benefits issues, and Title IX compliance.

A graduate of Notre Dame with a B.A. in history, Mr. Dvorak first returned to the University in 2014 as Faculty Affairs Specialist.  In that role, he worked with the Offices of the Provost and Human Resources to resolve employment complaints involving faculty members and counsel academic leadership on employee relations issues.

Prior to his professional career at Notre Dame, Mr. Dvorak practiced law as an associate at the law firm of Jones Day in Washington, D.C.  His private practice, which focused on employment, traditional labor, and railway labor law, involved counseling employers and defending claims in arbitration, administrative proceedings, and lawsuits at the trial and appellate level.

Mr. Dvorak earned his J.D. from the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University, Bloomington.  During law school, he was a legal intern with the National Labor Relations Board, an editor of the Indiana Law Journal, and a labor and employment law research associate.
